Schnitza’s Wood Park
A different kind of wood ...
In the fairytale-like head of the Saalbach Hinterglemm Valley, an adventure park has been developed where everything revolves around wood. Everything is made from wood - “back to the roots” is the motto here. Schnitza’s Wood Park shows kids how simple and fun it is to play with natural materials and aims to foster creativity and a sense of adventure in a fun and entertaining way. The path that weaves through the adventure park is also suitable for strollers.
You’ll encounter a number of exciting play stations and gigantic, lovingly carved wooden animals on your way through the park. Some of our most beloved play stations are, among others, the milking contest with the wooden cow “Resi,” outdoor bowling with wooden pins, extreme mini-golf, a can-toss, long-jumping with comparisons to animal jumps, the tree-trunk puzzle, and lots of other fun challenges.
